Why do we ask people their pronouns? Why do many transgender people become activists? Why are they mostly campaining for their own rights? Why are they trying to numb everyones’ senses to wars, genocides, Trump, Epstein via over-exposure?

The answers to these questions are pretty obvious and if you’ve seen a group of monkeys fighting and ganging up on the weaker ones, biting and bullying them into submission it’s heartbreaking. We’re supposed to be more evolved yet so many people seem to get mired in the same circular, pointless debates that no-one is going to agree upon. Here’s what I think we should argue about instead.

I think most people accept that gay people have always existed. Many of us now accept that there have always been transgender, non-binary (or gender-diverse) people too.

We now see networks of mostly white, rich men abusing and raping young girls whilst at the same time trying to make the public fear, hate and bully transgender people who don’t hurt anyone. So what is happening in the world in response? More and more transgenders. That’s interesting, it’s what I’ve experienced over the last 30 years but I see so little discussion of why this is.

My singular reason is that it’s because women have been too oppressed and abused and used for too long. Women who used to be men are starting to take up this fight because some are more aggressive and stronger than cis women because of where they came from and the struggles they’ve been through. I’m not talking about fighting in a boxing ring or competing on a football field. That’s as nonsensical as the debate about toilets. Men that used to be women are building their strength too in order to fight, they are stronger than the women they used to be. There’s a very good reason for this. Simply, the world needs that strength to heal from the disgusting abuses the media try to make us immune to every day.

Women need support in their fight now more than they ever needed rich men to use them and abuse their daughters.

Pick the right fights, peoples.
